Delete your WizeLift account

1. From the app (immediate)

1. Open WizeLift and sign in.
2. Tap your profile picture (at the top of the main screens), then the gear (Settings).
3. Go to Account → Account ownership → Delete account and tap Continue.
4. Type DELETE (or your email) to confirm, then tap Delete account.

Your account and data are deleted from our servers at that moment. If you only want to delete your training data and keep the account, use Settings → Your data → Delete all training data. You can also export all your data there first (Export all my data).

2. Without the app: ask by email

If you deleted the app, lost your phone or cannot sign in, write to [email protected] with the subject "Delete my WizeLift account". Include your username (@) if you remember it.

• Write from the email address of your account. That is how we know the account is yours.
• If you write from another address, we will send a confirmation message to the account's email and delete only once you reply from it. We will never ask for your password.
• We delete the account within 30 days of confirming it is yours (usually sooner) and tell you when it is done.

What is deleted

• Your account, profile, sign-in email, date of birth and settings.
• Workouts, sets, reps, loads, velocities and the motion-sensor signal.
• Body weight, measurements and the other body data saved to your account.
• Photos (profile and workouts), comments, likes, followers, blocks and notifications.
• The Strava connection, if you had one: we revoke the access.

What is kept, and for how long

• Sets you did in someone else's workout. They stay in that person's history, but your name is replaced with "Partner".
• Security logs (for example, a hashed fingerprint of the IP of sign-in attempts): 90 days, then deleted.
• Server backups: if any, your data is gone from them within 7 days at most.
• Web shop orders (not part of the app): kept for the 6 years Spanish tax law requires.
• Data on your phone: uninstall the app to remove what is left on the device. What WizeLift wrote to Apple Health or Health Connect is managed from those apps.
